Transmitter

The Guardian™ 4 transmitter with Bluetooth® wireless technology is a component of the continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) system with Bluetooth® wireless technology.

The Guardian™ 4 transmitter is a rechargeable device that powers the glucose sensor. The transmitter collects and calculates sensor data and sends the data via Bluetooth® wireless technology to a compatible display device, such as a mobile application, for the management of diabetes mellitus. The transmitter is only compatible with the Guardian™ 4 sensor and is indicated for single-patient or multiple-patient use. The transmitter is intended for persons ages 7 years and older. No contraindications are associated with Guardian™ 4 transmitter use.
