MiniMed™ Sure-T™
MiniMed™ Sure-T™ is uniquely designed to provide enhanced security for continuous insulin delivery. Its kink-free steel needle and the thinnest available in the MiniMed™ portfolio, combined with an extra disconnection site 10 cm away from the infusion site provides extra security against clogging and dislodging.
MiniMed™ Sure-T™ is particularly suited for infants, children and pregnant women or people allergic to Teflon®. Also, the MiniMed™ Sure-T™ infusion set is ideal for people who have had reactions to soft cannulas or who have not had success with soft cannulas.
- The MiniMed™ Sure-T™ is inserted manually and has two adhesive pads to provide extra protection against needle dislodging.
- Easy 90° steel needle manual insertion.
- Thin kink-free steel needle of 6mm or 8mm, available in various tubing lengths.
- Disconnection 10cm away from the infusion site.
All MiniMed™ infusion sets tubing and reservoirs are designed with a unique MiniMed™ connection for a more secure insulin delivery. For a better insulin absorption, and to help avoid insulin degradation and infusion set occlusion, you should change your infusion set regularly. It is recommended to change your MiniMed™ Sure-T™ tubing and needle every 24 to 48 hours.
